I have paid for a seminar, but haven’t received a tax receipt?
Receipts are emailed shortly after payment has been made. Check your spam folder as it may be seen as “unsolicited”. If it is not there please contact us with your course and date and we will email you another copy.
Will I get a Certificate of Attendance?
Yes you will receive a Certificate of Attendance stating the name of the course, the date and the number of CPD hours that can be attributed to active learning.
How many CPD points will I get for attending your seminars?
Continuing professional development is the means by which members of the profession maintain, improve and broaden their knowledge, expertise and competence, and develop the personal and professional qualities required throughout their professional lives. All nurses and midwives must meet the continuing professional development (CPD) standards. This standard sets out the minimum requirements for CPD. CPD must be directly relevant to the nurse or midwife’s context of practice. One hour of active learning will equal one hour of CPD.


What should I bring with me on the day?
Yourself, a pen, notepad and a light jacket or cardigan. We do try to set the room temperature in seminar venues to suit everyone.
Is parking included in my registration?
Parking is not included in your registration cost. We understand the anxiety parking brings some people when it comes to attending seminars. We endeavour to choose venues that provide free parking or at a reduced rate however this cannot be guaranteed. Please check the seminar brochure for instructions regarding parking.
What does my registration fee include?
Your registration includes tea and coffee on arrival, morning tea, lunch and course notes for the advertised program.
I have special dietary requirements. Can these be met at your seminars?
We will endeavour to accommodate any special dietary requirements if we know about them in advance. Please use the comment section on the online booking or brochure. If you forgot, please contact us least 72 hours prior to the seminar and we will do our best to facilitate your request with the venue.

Can you come to our workplace and repeat the seminar or parts of it?
Acute Care Education we offer customised seminars for your institution. Please contact us discuss your needs.
I was sick on the day and unable to attend. Will I get a refund?
Our Company has the following refund policy;

Cancellation 14 days from the seminar date: full refund

Cancellation between 7 & 13 days: we will not refund your money however we will give you a credit to the same value for a future seminar

Cancellation < 7 days: we are unable to offer a refund as we will have paid the venue for your attendance. We are happy to accept a colleague who can attend in your place and we will adjust the attendance certificate for them.
I have given a previous seminar presentation which I think other colleagues would enjoy. Are you interested in any new presenters?
